PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article for which texture of a leg surrounding part is soft and a wearing feeling is excellent.SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 includes an absorbent core, a first sheet 11 provided on the side facing the skin of a wearer, a second sheet 21 provided on the side opposite to the skin of the wearer, and elastic members 31 for legs disposed between the first sheet 11 and the second sheet 21 and disposed on both sides in a width direction x. In the absorbent article 1, the first sheet 11 has a first side edge part 12 extending outwards in the width direction x from the elastic members 31 for legs, and the first side edge part 12 is folded back inwards in the width direction x to form a loop 13 at the first side edge part 12. The second sheet 21 has a second side edge part 22 extending outwards in the width direction x from the elastic members 31 for legs, and the second side edge part 22 is folded back inwards in the width direction x to form a loop 23 at the second side edge part 22.
