PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide herbal medicine compositions which contain Orengedokuto as an active ingredient, can suppress the reduced fluidity of syrup-like extract attributable to the starch, mucin and the like derived from herbal-medicines and the reduced dispersibility in water or warm water, and also inhibit the reduced medication compliance caused by strong bitterness, and to provide a production method thereof.SOLUTION: A herbal medicine composition is obtained through an extraction step of obtaining an extract from Orengedokuto using water or a water-containing alcohol, a property-improving step of adding a saccharide as a concentration adjuvant to the extract to improve properties, and a concentration step of concentrating the extract having improved properties to obtain syrup-like extract, while at least one selected from the group consisting of monosaccharides, disaccharides, trisaccharides, tetrasaccharides, pentasaccharides, and their sugar alcohols is used for the saccharide.SELECTED DRAWING: NoneCOPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】黄連解毒湯を有効成分とし、生薬由来の澱粉質、粘液質等を原因とする軟稠エキスの流動性の低下や、水もしくは温湯への分散性の悪化を抑制し、また強い苦みによる服薬コンプライアンス低下を抑制することができる漢方医薬組成物及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】 黄連解毒湯から水あるいは含水アルコールを用いて抽出液を得る抽出工程と、上記抽出液に濃縮助剤として糖質を加えて性状改善を行う性状改善工程と、性状改善された上記抽出液を濃縮して軟稠エキスを得る濃縮工程と、を経て漢方医薬組成物の得るとともに、上記糖質には、単糖類、二糖類、三糖類、四糖類、五糖類、及びそれらの糖アルコールからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を用いる。【選択図】 なし
