PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating sheet which can efficiently treat the stump of a logged stump without using a chemical affecting environments, a large machine, or the like, and to provide a method for treating a stump therewith.SOLUTION: There is provided the stump-treating sheet prepared by laminating an upper sheet having a water-resisting property and a light-shielding properties to a lower sheet having a moisture-permeating and water-resisting property and a light-shielding property and then mutually fixing at least one portions of the sheets. The stump-treating sheet is used to cover a stump, and then fixed to the ground.
