PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform constant control over the planting depth without being adversely affected by car speed. SOLUTION: This rice transplanter is obtained by installing a lifting and lowering sensor 79 for detecting a change in distance between a planting part and a paddy field surface, a hydraulically-operated lifting and lowering control mechanism for performing the lifting and lowering control of the planting part based on the detection with the lifting and lowering sensor 79 and a car speed sensor 100 for detecting the travel speed of the machine body so as to correct the hydraulic sensitivity of the hydraulically-operated lifting and lowering control mechanism according to the speed change state of the travel speed.
