Provided is a dentifrice composition in a container, in which the dentifrice composition is held in a container having a polyethylene innermost layer and the dentifrice composition contains the following components (A) through (E): (A) one, two, or more oil-soluble active ingredients selected from tocopherol, triclosan, and isopropyl methyl phenol (B) 0.3 to 2 mass% of anionic surfactant (C) 0.15 to 5 mass% of polyoxyethylene-hydrogenated castor oil (D) polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester and (E) 15 to 50 mass% of water.
