PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box type deodorization container which does not require a device which is actuated by a power supply or a power supply, and which can absorb and deodorize an odorous component from a deodorization object stored in a storage part 4.SOLUTION: There is provided a box type deodorization container A for storing and deodorizing a deodorization object, the box type deodorization container comprises: a container structure 1 having therein, a storage part 4 for storing a deodorization object so as to be taken out and taken in freely； and an odorous component absorption layer 10 provided on the storage part 4 in the container structure 1 so as to ventilate, and formed of a coating including a deodorization function component formed of at least one of a porous adsorbent, a metal ion complex, and alkali compound.
