The present invention relates to a peptide capable of effectively regenerating skin tissues, which are lost by an wound or the like or are dead by aging, and having a particular amino acid structure, or a homologue thereof to a cosmetic composition for skin regeneration containing the synthetic peptide as an active ingredient and to a method for skin regeneration using the same. The peptide for skin regeneration of the present invention is characterized by being selected from OP10, OP13, and OP13, which have the following sequences: OP10: DWYGFGDW-NH_2, OP13: DWYFGDW-NH_2, and OP15: DWGSGD-NH_2.
