The present invention relates to a functional food composition for maintenance of mineral balance in body, prevention of absorption into body of heavy metal, discharge of heavy metal, detoxification and the like by using cicada larva, wherein the food composition is prepared by using cicada larva which improves the taste of cicada larva during preparation of a dried powder of the cicada larva to improve the adaptability of a person eating the cicada larva.
