The absorbent body 20 includes: an absorber 21 for absorbing and retaining liquid a top sheet for covering the absorber from a surface side a back sheet for covering the absorber from the back side a front end portion 30 extending longitudinally outward the absorber in a front piece 1 a front locking part 31 provided at the back side of the front end portion a back end portion 40 extending longitudinally outward the absorber in a back piece 2 and a back locking part 41 provided at the back side of the back end portion 40. At least both or either one of the front end portion and the back end portion has an extension area 32 extending longitudinally farther with respect to the end edge of the outer body forming a waist opening part 4.
