PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a fit of an absorbent article when being worn by forming slits in the longitudinal direction of an absorber and prevent a tear from being formed on a part of a top sheet caused by the slit formation.SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes: a liquid-permeable top sheet 20 for covering an absorber 10 from the surface side, the absorber absorbing a liquid and holding it a liquid-impermeable back sheet 30 for covering it from the back side. The absorber includes slits that extend from a crotch part 3 in the longitudinal direction of the absorber and penetrates therethrough from the surface side to the back side. A reinforcing sheet 40 is disposed between a top sheet upper or the absorber, and the top sheet. The reinforcing sheet is disposed to cover only end parts of the slits in a front piece 1 and end part uppers in a back piece 2 of end parts in the back piece 2.
