The method for manufacturing chocolate (excluding, here, a method for manufacturing that carries out mold transport) includes: a first molding step for molding chocolate stock solution on a first conveyor belt a second molding step for molding chocolate stock solution on a second conveyor belt provided in a stage above the first conveyor belt and a cooling step in which chocolate is obtained by passing the chocolate stock solution that has been molded on the first and second conveyor belts through a plural stage conveyor belt type cooling device through which at least the first and second conveyor belts can pass, and cooling and hardening the same.
