PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide soybean fermentation liquid having function such as emulsifying ability required for various kinds of food additives, and regarded as food raw material producible in a short time and having versatility.

SOLUTION: The soybean fermentation liquid is obtained by inoculating lactobacillus belonging to the genus Leuconostoc into sucrose and Lipase-containing culture liquid, and fermenting the culture liquid for 10 to 24 hours. A method for producing food includes using the soybean fermentation liquid as at least one of yeast food, an emulsifier, a stabilizer, an acidulant, and a seasoning.
