PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for removing shells, suitable for removing shells especially of peas.SOLUTION: A device for removing shells includes: transportation means for transporting bean-containing shells cutting means for adding cut to the bean-containing shells transported by the transportation means and two rollers arranged on a subsequent stage of the cutting means. The two rollers are arranged by making peripheral surfaces thereof face each other at a clearance shorter than a thickness of a bean shell between the peripheral surfaces, and rotate in the opposite directions to each other so as to draw the bean-containing shells transported from the cutting means into the clearance, and only the shells are drawn into the clearance and sent out to a rear side in the transportation direction of the clearance while beans are squeezed out from the bean-containing shells on the front side in the transportation direction of the clearance.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】特にエンドウ豆のさや剥きに適したさや剥き装置を提供することにある。【解決手段】さや剥き装置は、豆入りのさやを搬送する搬送手段と、搬送手段により搬送されてきた豆入りのさやに切り込みを加える切り込み手段と、切り込み手段の後段に配置される2つのローラとを備え、該2つのローラはその周面間に豆のさやの厚さよりも短い間隙をあけて周面同士が向き合って配置され、切り込み手段から搬送されてきた豆入りのさやを当該間隙に引き込むように互いに反対方向に回転して、間隙の搬送方向手前側で豆入りのさやから豆がしごき出されながら、さやのみが間隙間に引き込まれて間隙の搬送方向後方側に送り出される。【選択図】図1
