PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of maintaining the concealing property before wearing even when it is wet with body fluid during wearing. The absorbent article includes a topsheet 2 having an opacity maintaining region in which a decrease in Y value in an XYZ color system is less than 10% in a wet state compared to a dry state. The topsheet 2 is configured by joining a non-skin contacting surface side sheet 22 and a skin contacting surface side sheet 21 having a two-layer structure to each other at a plurality of bonding portions 23. The skin-contacting surface side sheet 21 has a large number of convex portions 24 protruding in a direction away from the non-skin-contacting surface side sheet 22 in a portion other than the joint portion 23. In the opacity maintaining region, the layers of the skin contact surface side sheet 21 can be peeled off at the joint portion 23 by rubbing.
