PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a wearing article easily conveyed during the manufacture, hardly wasting the materials.
SOLUTION: The method of manufacture comprises a process of conveying first sheet-like objects C as body parts in the state with the longitudinal direction orthogonally crossing the machine direction X and in the state separate from one another in the machine direction X a process of laying second sheet-like objects P1-P4 as side panels 61 on the first sheet-like objects C one after another in such a way that the second sheet-like objects P1-P4 are astride the first sheet-like objects C and C adjacent to each other and that a part of the second sheet-like objects P1-P4 overlaps a part of the first sheet-like objects C a process of jointing the overlapped parts to each other to produce a complex body 70 continuous in the machine direction X and a process of cutting the complex body 70 into separate wearing articles while conveying the complex body.
