PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarization OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) apparatus enabling a correction of a polarization state.SOLUTION: The polarization OCT apparatus includes: interference means that divides light applied from a light source into measuring light and reference light, causes return light of the measuring light applied to a specimen to interfere with the reference light via a reference light path to generate interference light division means that divides the interference light into light with different polarization components and generation means that detects the light divided by division means to generate a signal. The polarization OCT apparatus further includes: detection means that detects polarization states of the measuring light in a measurement optical path, the return light of the measuring light via the interference means and the reference light via the interference means, respectively and polarization control means that controls the respective polarization states on the basis of the detected respective polarization states.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
