Disclosed is a composition comprising processed whole blackcurrants and an extract of blackcurrants, wherein the ratio of extract to processed whole blackcurrants is from approximately 3 to 2 to approximately 1 to 3; wherein the processed whole blackcurrants comprise an anthocyanin concentration of at least 1% (w/w); wherein the extract comprises at least a 5 times greater anthocyanin concentration than the processed whole blackcurrants; and wherein the composition comprises an anthocyanin concentration of up to 35% (w/w).
