PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type tending machine facilitating assembling work and maintenance of a ridge forming sheet in the walking type tending machine including the flexibly deformable ridge-forming sheet at a rear end side of a tilling rotary, and a wheel assisting the traveling.SOLUTION: The walking type tending machine includes: a machine body 1 having a steering handle 2 a tilling rotary 3 a ridge forming sheet 29 that is flexibly deformed and a wheel 46. The walking type tending machine supports the ridge forming sheet 29 at the rear side of the machine body so as to switch it between a working attitude for forming the ridge and a storage attitude being stored in the upper side of the working attitude. The walking type tending machine further includes a regulation member 44 that has a regulation face 44a for regulating the rearward deformation of the ridge forming sheet 29, at the front face thereof.
