PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the maintenance work of a front rotary to be carried out while watching a tilling shaft and a tilling tine without being forced to take an unreasonable position.SOLUTION: A walking-type tending machine 1 includes a transmission case 2 disposed at the horizontal center of a machine body, an axle 4 projecting to both the right and left sides from the transmission case 2 and having a wheel 3 provided at its tip, a steering handle 10 extending backward and upward from the rear of the transmission case 2, and a front rotary 5 provided in the front portion of the transmission case 2 for tilling soil ahead of the axle 4.
