Disclosed is an active-type walking assistance device. The active-type walking assistance device comprises a body unit equipped with a handle formed at the top end thereof and a caster unit formed at the bottom end thereof so that wheels can be rotated； a force/torque (F/T) sensor installed on the handle and sensing a walking speed and a walking direction desired by a user through power applied from the user； a wireless terminal worn on the body of the user to sense the slope and motion of the user&prime；s body； a first operating motor installed on the caster unit to operate the wheels； a second operating motor installed on the caster unit of the body unit so as to rotate and operate the body unit based on an axial direction of the body unit； a third operating motor disposed at the top end of the body unit along a length direction of the body unit； and a control unit which receives signals respectively from the F/T sensor and the wireless terminal, controls the first operating motor through a pre-saved program, controls the operation of the wheels, controls at least two of the first to third operating motors, and provides the user with haptic feedback signals.능동형 보행보조장치가 개시된다. 개시된 보행보조장치는 상단에 손잡이가 구비되고 하단에 캐스터부를 통해 바퀴가 회전 가능하게 설치되는 몸체부； 상기 손잡이에 설치되어 사용자가 전가하는 힘을 통해 사용자가 의도하는 보행속도 및 보행방향을 감지하기 위한 F/T(Force/Torque) 센서； 상기 사용자의 몸의 기울기 및 흔들림을 감지하도록 사용자의 몸에 착용되는 무선단말기； 상기 바퀴를 구동하기 위해 상기 캐스터부에 설치되는 제1 구동모터； 상기 몸체부의 캐스터부에 설치되어 상기 몸체부를 상기 몸체부의 축방향을 중심으로 회전 구동시키기 위한 제2 구동모터； 상기 몸체부의 길이방향을 따라 상기 몸체부 상단에 배치되는 제3 구동모터； 및 상기 F/T 센서 및 무선단말기로부터 각각 신호를 수신하여 미리 저장된 프로그램을 통해 상기 제1 구동모터를 제어하여 상기 바퀴의 구동을 제어하고, 상기 제1 내지 제3 구동모터 중 적어도 2개를 제어하여 사용자에게 햅틱 피드백 신호를 제공하는 제어부；를 포함한다.
