PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote immunity of a patient afflicted with an inflammatory condition with an inability to be weaned off systemic or topical administered steroid treatment, and being on anti-inflammatory treatment with steroids.SOLUTION: The invention relates to an oligonucleotide having the following sequence: 5'-X-TTCGT-Y-3' (SEQ. ID. No. 18) wherein X is A, T, C or G, Y is A, T, C or G, m=0-7, n=0-7 and at least one CG dinucleotide is unmethylated and a sequence length of the oligonucleotide is 8-100 nucleic acid basis, for producing pharmaceutical formulations for enhancing steroid efficacy in a steroid dependent patient. The steroid efficacy in the patient is enhanced by using the oligonucleotide.【課題】 炎症状態に苦しみ、全身又は局所投与ステロイド治療を止めさせることが不可能であり、そしてステロイド抗炎症治療中である患者の免疫を促進する。【解決手段】 ステロイド依存性患者において、ステロイドの効果を増強するための薬剤を製造するための、下記配列：５’－Ｘm－ＴＴＣＧＴ－Ｙn－３’（配列番号１８）（ここで、ＸはＡ、Ｔ、Ｃ又はＧ、ＹはＡ、Ｔ、Ｃ又はＧ、ｍ＝０～７、ｎ＝０～７であり、少なくとも１つのＣＧジヌクレオチドはメチル化されておらず、そしてオリゴヌクレオチドの長さは８～１００核酸塩基である）を有するオリゴヌクレオチドの使用により、前記患者におけるステロイドの効果を増強する。【選択図】 なし
