PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stimulating immune of a patient suffering from inflammatory conditions, who is under steroidal anti-inflammatory treatment and impossible to cease the steroid treatment by systemic or local administration.SOLUTION: There is disclosed a method for enhancing effects of steroid in the steroid-dependent patient by using an oligonucleotide having a sequence: 5-Xm-CG-Yn-3, provided that X is A, T, C or G m is 1-100 n is 1-100 and at least one CG dinucleotide is unmethylated.
