A method for creating a virus-free plant individual, said method comprising: step (1) for growing an rALSV-infected plant individual for 2 to 6 weeks at a temperature which is higher than the optimum temperature thereof and at which rALSV is inactivated； step (2) for, after step (1), growing the rALSV-infected plant individual at the optimum temperature thereof and thus allowing the elongation of an rALSV-absent site from the rALSV-infected plant individual； and step (3) for grafting the rALSV-absent site elongated in step (2) as a scion and growing the same.L'invention concerne un procédé de création d'un individu végétal sans virus, ledit procédé comprenant : l'étape (1) consistant à faire croître un individu végétal infecté par le rALSV pendant 2 à 6 semaines à une température qui est supérieure à la température optimale de ce dernier et à laquelle le rALSV est inactivé ； l'étape (2) consistant, après l'étape (1), à faire croître l'individu végétal infecté par le rALSV à la température optimale de ce dernier et permettre ainsi l'allongement d'un site à rALSV absent à partir de l'individu végétal infecté par le rALSV ； et l'étape (3) consistant à greffer le site à rALSV absent allongé à l'étape (2) sous la forme d'un greffon et à le faire croître.以下の工程：（１）rALSV感染植物個体を、その至適温度より高く、かつ、rALSVが不活性化する温度で、２週間から６週間育成する工程；（２）工程（１）の後、rALSV感染植物個体をその至適温度にて育成して、rALSV感染植物個体からrALSV非存在部位を伸長させる工程；および（３）工程（２）で伸長させたrALSV非存在部位を穂木として接ぎ木して育成する工程を、含む作出方法とする。
