The present invention relates to a method for producing alcohol-washed rice which comprises the following steps: (A) immersing rice in alcohol and stirring the rice (b) dewatering the rice after stirring the same with alcohol in step (a) and (c) applying hot air to the dehydrated rice of step (b) to volatilize the alcohol. The present invention also relates to the alcohol-washed rice obtained by the method.
