To provide a soybean peptide-containing gel-like food that has reduced bitterness and offensive smell derived from soybean protein and peptide and can reduction a gelling agent content.
SOLUTION: The gel-like food comprises a gelling agent and a thermolysin hydrolyzate of soybean peptide. The gel-like food has reduced bitterness and offensive smell and a good flavor even when a soybean peptide is included. Since a gel strength is enhanced by using the thermolysin hydrolyzate as the soybean peptide and the amount of the gelling agent mixed is reduced.
