The present invention relates generally to supports for receiving a pastry dough, and more particularly to supports for pressing down, conveying, and cooking a pastry dough of this type, such as a shortcrust pastry, puff pastry or the like, which may or may not be filled. The invention relates more particularly to a support comprising: • an annular peripheral wall (2) that is substantially vertical and has an outer peripheral surface (3a) and an inner peripheral surface (3b), • a top end (4a) and a bottom end (4b), said annular wall (2) extending to a height (h) from the bottom end (4b) toward the top end (4a), wherein the inner peripheral surface (3b), the top (4a) and bottom ends (4b) and the height (h) of the annular peripheral wall (2) define an interior space (5) of the supports for receiving the pastry dough to be pressed down and conveyed； and • said annular peripheral wall (2) comprising a horizontal projection (6) which extends from the inner peripheral surface (3b) at least partially into the interior space (5) of the supports and forms an annular retainer skirt for the pastry dough as it is pressed down into the support and conveyed after said pressing.
