PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food cooling device including a processing tank having an opening for taking in and out an object to be cooled, and a sliding door for closing the opening of the processing tank, and facilitating washing a surface of a processing tank side of the door.SOLUTION: A food cooling device includes a processing tank 2 having a processing tank opening at a front face side, and equipment for performing cooling an object to be cooled stored in the processing tank 2. The equipment is stored in an equipment storage part 1 provided on the lateral part of the processing tank 2. The food cooling device has a door 4 for closing the processing tank opening before the processing tank opening, when viewing from the front face of the food cooling device, makes the door 4 sliding, and enables movement in the horizontal direction from a position before the processing tank opening to a position before the equipment storage part 1. The equipment storage part 1 for storing the equipment is provided on a position deeper than a surface of the processing tank opening, and a washing space allowing a person to enter when opening the door 4 is provided between the door 4 and the equipment storage part 1.
