The invention relates to a fishing sinker that prevents snagging on rocks, which has a body with ends (1a, 1b) for attachment to a line (2) or fishing line and which is joined between two points of a section (2a) to said line (2) by both ends (1a, 1b) of the body, an elastic element (3) being interposed at one of said ends (1b), between the sinker (1) and the line (2).
