PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine the injection condition of a contrast medium to administrate to a subject.SOLUTION: A medical image diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment comprises an obtaining unit, a detecting unit, a deriving unit, and a controlling unit. The obtaining unit obtains image data of a patient. The detecting unit detects each of a plurality of sites of the patient from the image data. The deriving unit derives information about a structuring member in the patient, on the basis of a detection result obtained by the detecting unit.
