PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cat scratcher that has a sharpener resistant to loss.SOLUTION: A cat scratcher 20 includes a sharpener 21 sharpening cats claws when the cat scratches it with its claws, and a body portion 23 provided with a housing portion 22 capable of housing the sharpener 21 in such a way that a sharpening surface 21a of the sharpener 21 is exposed upward, so that the body portion holds the sharpener 21 in the housing portion 22. An upper surface 23c of the body portion 23 is tilted so that it gets higher from one longitudinal end 23a to the other end 23b.
