PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection preventing member of soil and a seedling capable of being attached to an existing seedling tray, and being easily and surely attached without damaging a seedling.SOLUTION: A projection preventing member 10 of soil and a seedling is placed on the upper surface side of a seedling tray 100 comprising a plurality of housing parts 110 which can house soil and a seedling raised in soil therein and are arranged in vertical and horizontal directions, and prevents projection of the soil and seedling. The projection preventing member comprises a base part 11 extending in one direction of vertical and horizontal directions of the seedling tray 100, and a plurality of pressing parts 12 extending from the base part 11 in the other direction of vertical and horizontal directions of the seedling tray.
