PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning reel for fishing with a seal member in good fitting state.SOLUTION: A spinning reel for fishing includes: a reel body 1 a spool shaft 9 arranged in the reel body 1 and supporting a spool 3 which allows a fishing line to be wound thereon a pinion 8 to which the spool shaft 9 is inserted so as to be movable in the front and rear direction and a rotor 2 is fixed a nut 20 fixing the rotor 2 on the pinion 8 by being screwed into the pinion 8 and a seal member 30 placed at a tip portion of the pinion 8 and having a lip portion 33 brought in contact with the peripheral surface of the spool shaft 9.
