PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a pinion gear engaged with a driving gear of a fishing reel.SOLUTION: A pinion gear 3 is engaged with a driving gear connected to a handle shaft in a fishing reel for winding a fishing line around a spool supported by a reel body, and transmits the rotation of the handle shaft. The pinion gear 3 comprises a gear 31 and a shaft 32. The gear 31 engages with the driving gear. The shaft 32 integrally rotates with the gear 31 while the gear 31 is whirl-stopped and fitted. Materials of the gear 31 and the shaft 32 are different from each other, and the specific gravity of the shaft 32 is smaller than the specific gravity of the gear 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2【課題】魚釣り用リールの駆動ギアに噛み合うピニオンギアを軽くすることを目的とする。【解決手段】ピニオンギア３は、リール本体に回転可能に支持されるハンドル軸の回転操作により、リール本体に支持されるスプールに釣り糸を巻回する魚釣り用リールにおけるハンドル軸に結合された駆動ギアに噛み合い、ハンドル軸の回転を伝達する。ピニオンギア３は、歯車３１と軸３２から構成される。歯車３１は、駆動ギアに噛み合う。軸３２は、歯車３１が回り止め嵌合され、歯車３１と一体回転する。歯車３１と軸３２とは異なる材質であって、軸３２の比重は歯車３１の比重より小さい。【選択図】図２
