To this end, the pinion gear (3) is engaged with the driving gear coupled to a handle shaft of the fishing reel which winds a fishing line on a spool supported by a reel main body by rotation of the handle shaft rotatably supported on the reel main body, and also delivers rotation of the handle shaft. The pinion gear (3) comprises a toothed wheel (31) and a shaft (32). The toothed wheel (31) is engaged with the driving gear. The shaft (32) is coupled with rotation and stopping of the toothed wheel (31) and rotates integrally with the toothed wheel (31). The toothed wheel (31) and the shaft (32) are made of different materials, and the specific gravity of the shaft (32) is smaller than that of the toothed wheel (31).[과제] 낚시용 릴의 구동 기어에 맞물리는 피니언 기어를 가볍게 한다.
