PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a syringe which can simultaneously and easily perform the injection of liquid and the suction of liquid, and is excellent in the responsiveness of one of the injection side and the suction side to another side.
SOLUTION: The syringe 1 includes: a body part 2 having outer cylinders 3 and 4 a gasket 5 slidably inserted in the outer cylinder 3, a gasket 6 slidably inserted in the outer cylinder 4 a pusher 7 and a pusher 8. The gaskets 5 and 6 are fixed to the distal end parts of the pushers 7 and 8 respectively. Rack gears 71 and 81 are formed on the pushers 7 and 8 respectively, and a pinion gear 11 is installed at the proximal end part of the body part 2. The pinion gear 11 is engaged with the rack gear 71 at all times, and the state in which the rack gear 81 and the pinion gear 11 are engaged and the state in which they are not engaged are switched for the rack gear 81.
