Provided is an absorbent article characterized by the following: the absorbent article comprises an absorption element (50) obtained by packaging an absorber (56) in packaging sheets (58); the absorber is configured by mixing and accumulating fibers and highly-absorbent polymer particles (56P); the absorber has, on the front and/or reverse side thereof, an impregnation layer (562) impregnated with a hot-melt adhesive (H2) having a melt viscosity of 1000 to 6000 mPa·s; and a portion of the absorber which is on the inner surface of the packaging sheets and which faces the impregnation layer is adhered to the outer surface of the impregnation layer via an adhesive layer (561) comprising a hot-melt adhesive (H1) having a melt viscosity that is within the range of 4000 to 9000 mPa·s and is higher than that of the hot-melt adhesive with which the impregnation layer is impregnated.本發明所欲解決的問題在於抑制吸收體的形狀發生變形。     為了解決上述問題,本發明提供一種吸收性物品,其具備以包裝片58包裝吸收體56而成之吸收要素50,且吸收體56是由纖維和高吸收性聚合物粒子56P混合集聚而成,該吸收性物品的特徵在於:前述吸收體,在其正反側中之至少一側,具有含浸有熔融黏度1000~6000mPa‧s的熱熔黏合劑H2之含浸層562,並且,包裝片58的內表面中的與含浸層562相對向之部分,是藉由黏合層561而黏合在含浸層562的外表面,該黏合層561是由熔融黏度在4000~9000mPa‧s的範圍內且熔融黏度比含浸於前述含浸層中的熱熔黏合劑更高之熱熔黏合劑H1所組成。
