PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorber which has optional absorption characteristics for the versatile use applications of absorption products and also is freely set to meet liquid diffusion and absorption functions. SOLUTION: A composite absorber is structured of an absorption layer composed mainly of high water absorbing resin, carried on the surface of a nonwoven fabric-like base and a fiber net-like hot-melt adhesive applied on the surface of the absorption layer. In addition, a composite absorber or a sheet material of the same structure or a different structure is combined in one piece with the described composite absorber with the help of the hot-melt adhesive. Thus the multifunctional multilayered absorber with different layers is obtained.
