The present invention provides for an Aloe vera based chocolate composition including partially purified Aloe vera water fraction, sugar, water, butter, milk powder, cocoa powder, and one or more flavourings. The present invention also provides for a process of preparing Aloe vera based chocolate composition which is shelf stable, good in taste, and exhibits anti-ulcerative property by reducing gastric and colon ulcers in human beings.
