PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion tool for a lacrimal passage, capable of preventing that foreign matter collects inside the lacrimal passage.SOLUTION: An insertion tool is formed with, on the outer circumferential face of a body part 11, a groove 112 extending in a direction inclined to a direction orthogonal to an axis L of the body part 11. When forming the body part 11 by knitting a plurality of filiform members 111, the groove 112 spirally extending along a boundary between the respective filiform members 111 is formed.
