PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood for an endoscope capable of regulating the rotation in the direction around the axis of a distal end part of a treating tool, capable of directing correctly the treating tool to a desired direction, and capable of executing quickly accurate treatment.
SOLUTION: A rotation regulating part 7 is provided to abut on the treating tool 6 projected from a distal end of an insertion part 2 of an endoscope 1 in an inner circumferential face of a substantially cylindrical cap 4 attached to the distal end of the insertion part 2 of the endoscope 1, and to regulate an operation of the treating tool 6 rotating in the direction around the axis of the insertion part 2 in the endoscope 1.
