PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable subjective measurement under a natural state to be performed easily and with a high degree of precision.SOLUTION: A subjective optometer includes a light projecting optical system having a right eye light projecting optical system and a left eye light projecting optical system provided in a right and left pair for irradiating a target light flux onto an eye to be examined, and projecting the target onto the eye to be examined, and a correction optical system disposed in an optical path of the light projecting optical system for changing the optical characteristics of the target light flux, and measures the optical characteristics of the eye to be examined subjectively. The subjective optometer includes control means that irradiates the target light flux from one light projecting optical system of the right eye light projecting optical system and the left eye light projecting optical system, projects a first target onto one eye to be examined of the right and left eyes to be examined, and irradiates the target light flux from the other light projecting optical system of the right eye light projecting optical system and the left eye light projecting optical system, projects a second target onto the other eye to be examined of the right and left eyes to be examined.
