PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-core type microcapsule hardly adhering to teeth even when being chewed.SOLUTION: In the multi-core type microcapsule, a film forming material is a gelatin hydrolysate whose weight average molecular weight is 10,000-40,000. The multi-core type microcapsule is produced by executing following steps 1-4. A gelatin hydrolysate whose weight average molecular weight is 10,000-40,000 and an emulsifier are added into water, and the mixture is heated to about 40-90°C to be dissolved to acquire a water phase (step 1). A core material is added into the water phase as an oil phase and stirred to be emulsified and dispersed uniformly to acquire an O/W type emulsified composition (step 2). The emulsified composition is sprayed into a tower filled with liquid nitrogen. The sprayed dispersion liquid is cooled and dropped, and changed into fine particles in the frozen state at the dropping part (step 3).
