PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a new antiobestic application using a buckwheat chaff extract.SOLUTION: It is discovered that the intake of an extract using a 80% methanol extract of the buckwheat chaff and free from dietary fiber for a long period exhibits the ameliorating effects of fatty liver.
