The present application discloses a bone regeneration or osteogenesis promoting peptide or a composition comprising the same. The peptide according to the present application or a composition containing the peptide has bone regeneration and bone formation ability in heterogeneous bones and allogeneic bones, and also promotes bone formation during development. In addition, it does not show ectopic ossification. Therefore, the composition containing the peptide according to the present application can be applied to the treatment of various diseases requiring bone regeneration and bone formation ability. Furthermore, the peptide which concerns on this application can replace BMP-2, or can use it with a small amount of BMP-2, and can ensure safety security.
