Disclosed is a peptide for promoting osteogenesis or osteoanagenesis, or a composition containing the same. According to the present invention, the peptide or the composition containing the same shows osteoanagenesis and osteogenesis ability in heterogenous and allogeneous bones, and also promotes osteogenesis during generation, without causing heterotropic ossification. Accordingly, the composition containing the peptide can be applied to treatment for various diseases requiring osteoanagenesis and osteogenesis ability.
