The article comprises a liquid permeable top sheet, a liquid impermeable back sheet, and an absorber interposed between the top sheet and the back sheet. An endothermic material is disposed inside the absorber on a side facing the back sheet, and a depression and a projection are formed on a surface of the top sheet facing a human body. A basis weight in the projection is larger than a basis weight in the depression. An intermediate sheet of a nonwoven fabric is interposed between the top sheet and the absorber, in which a first density region and a second density region are formed to spread out in a planar direction, and a fibre density of the second density region is lower than a fibre density of the first density region.
