PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper simple in structure and easy in manufacturing, preventing side leakage around legs as well as surely fixing a urine absorbing pad various in size and shape such as a small pad and a large pad.
SOLUTION: The disposable diaper 1 comprises a front body, a crotch section, and a back body. It includes an absorber 22, a top sheet 18 at least a part of which is made of a liquid-permeable material, a back sheet 20 made of a liquid-impermeable material, a water-repellent sheet, and a pair of three-dimensional gathers 26 disposed on both sides of the absorber 22. The pair of three-dimensional gathers 26 are configured so that an interval W2 of standing lines in the front body and back body could be larger than that in the crotch section, and a height H2 of the gather in the crotch section could be higher than that in the front body and back body.
