PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type absorbent article of excellent wearability at low costs.SOLUTION: In an underpants type absorbent article (1), both side ends of an absorbent body (10) form a pair of openings around legs. An absorber (40) has: an absorbent core (41) having a narrow width part (41A) in a center part in a longitudinal direction； and a colored core wrap sheet (42) covering a skin side surface and a non-skin side surface of the absorbent core (41). The absorbent body (10) has: an inside area (10A) where the core wrap sheet (42) and the narrow width part (41A) exist； and an outside area (10B) where the core wrap sheet (42) exists but no absorbent core (41) exists outside in a horizontal direction of the inside area (10A).
