PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type absorbent article capable of preventing peeling or turning of an absorption member end part from an external body, and reducing discomfort caused by contact of a terminal of the absorption member to a skin of a wearer, even when the underpants type absorbent article is configured so that, the absorption member is fastened to the external body using a flexible film.SOLUTION: An underpants type absorbent article comprises: an external body on which, a waist opening part is defined, and contains at least partially, a flexible sheet on which, a flexible film and a first nonwoven sheet are laminated an absorption member having a fastening part to be fastened to the external body on at least a part of a longitudinal direction end part and an auxiliary sheet arranged to face the external body.
