PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type absorbent article which has high freedom degree of a design of appearance, and is easy to wear and excellent in fitness during wearing.SOLUTION: An underpants type absorbent article 1 comprises an interior body 3 having an absorber 17 and an exterior body 4 comprising a waist opening part 9 and a pair of leg opening parts 11. The underpants type absorbent article 1 is divided into a crotch area 13 between the pair of leg opening parts 11 and a waist area 15 which extends over whole circumferential direction P. The exterior body 4 comprises an outside sheet 21 which extends downward of a dimension direction L from the waist opening part 9 and being arranged in the waist area 15, and an inside sheet 23. The inside sheet 23 comprises an upper stretchable part 27 and a lower stretchable part 29 extending in the circumferential direction P. The exterior body 4 comprises a non-connection part where the lower stretchable part 29 and the outside sheet 21 are not connected.
